FROM THE BIG HOUSE TO THE BIG LIGHTHOUSE.
When Moncton Community Chaplaincy was born, we were called the “Little Lighthouse”, offering hope and light to those lost in the darkness of their situations. We developed programs and joined with other venerable institutions to inspire hope, help protect the community, and continue our journey of supporting ex-offenders as they reintegrate back into the community after release.
Since then, our building has become synonymous with faith, charity, and the belief that all people deserve their best chance for rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Enter the Big Lighthouse Project: part housing solution, part location for our programs, we have broken ground on this new symbol for safety, community, and belief that no person is disposable.
